Xbox LIVE

Xbox LIVE is the best thing that Microsoft ever came up with (after the Xbox 360). The ability to play and talk with your friends over Xbox LIVE is probably the best function.

Multiplayer is another thing that makes LIVE so good. Since it gives you the ability to play with random people. Plus it gives games more replay value.

Oh… and Microsoft likes Xbox LIVE to, since they made about 600 million dollars ONLY off of the subscriptions.

And they probably made tons more off of arcade, add-ons, Zune, and whatever else is on LIVE.

In other words, if you don’t have Xbox LIVE for your Xbox 360, you don’t have everything you could (and should) have for your Xbox. And since its only $50.00 for a years worth, it’s worth it to buy… it.

Halo 3: ODST

Halo 3: ODST is not new now and this is a it late for this post but, since I’m already posting things, I might as well fix this up. Anyway, this game is pretty much an add-on to Halo 3, which is what it was going to be in the first place. It’s campaign has a good story, but since it lacks multiplayer ( with people who aren’t on your friends list ), it has less replay value than Halo 3 did. But, it still is a good game, and you must play it to get the recon armor for your SPARTAN in Halo 3.

Oh, and Halo: Reach is coming out September 14, 2010, which is only about two months from now.

Halo Wars

20 years before the Halo event (Halo: Combat Evolved) is when Halo Wars is taking place. The game is near the start of the Human/Covenant War and it is the only non first person shooter game with Halo in the title. Aside from the fact that Master Chief isn’t in it and it’s a strategy game, it isn’t that bad. Not that I don’t like strategy games. Hardest/Most annoying level: Arcadia City, It’s a “protect this guy or lose” type mission, the worst type.

Halo (Covenant)

Man, I can’t believe I haven’t talked about Halo yet, so I’ll get started.

Halo is about Master Chief (you, who has enhanced abilities and has a shield around his whole body) fighting aliens who could kill all of humanity ( the aliens are called the Covenant (Cov-e-nant ). In the ranks of the Covenant are many aliens ( I’ll put them in order of lowest to highest rank ) the original ones are the Grunts ( who are really funny to listen to since they’ll scream in fear of you, run away from you, and call you “demon”), the Jackals ( they have shield that protect them, round shields they carry with them), the Elites ( the most like you except their mouths split in four ways), and the very painful Hunters( Um… their name sort of tells you they’re tough, they have guns implanted into them and a metal shield inside the other arm). Then, in Halo 2, 2 more Covenant soldiers are added and 1 other thing is added ( in guessed rank), Drones ( who are really big( human size) bugs, and they can fly) ,Brutes( same as Elites, only no shielding, just Brute strength), and the “other” Prophets, there is only 3 of them in total, and as far as I remember you kill 1 and the Flood (who will be in my next Halo post) kill the other.

Well, sorry about the large post but, I am dividing them so it isn’t ridiculous, and I might add weapons after the USNC post, if I even do that one, but anyway,

SBCG4AP#5: 8-Bit is Enough

This is a sad day for SBCG4AP, for this is the final episode. Ok I’m done. So remember what I put on the last post about SBCG4AP? If not I’m not heartbroken or anything since I just updated it, but anyway on to what I said” He jumped in the direction of the TROGDOR machine….” And guess what? That plays a HUGE role in this one, and here it is. Strong Bad jumps into the TROGDOR machine and brakes it then Strong Sad get mad at him and tells him he needs to fit it, but just then the machine comes to life (sort of. it gets a beefy arm, wings, and feet)(it looks like an arcade game). Then after lot of other stuff he “fixes the problem”it comes to life ( for real this time, looks just like The Burninator/Trogdor). If you want to know every single detail ,buy it, or go to THY LINK coming to stores nearest thy self! Whatever that means.

SBCG4AP#4 Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective

Dangeresque 3 after so many years has been completed, in a video game adaption. The game starts in Dangeresque’s(Strong Bad’s) office.

You open the door and Dangeresque Too(Homestar) and Renaldo(Coach Z) come in, for Renaldo’s retirement party. Then Cutesy Buttons(Marzipan) comes in with Credenza ( Marzipan’s Plant), which Strong Bad said not to bring to the set. Cutesy Buttons wants you to go and get a rain forest antidote? I guess is what it was.

She’ll be kidnaped when you try to give it to her, and that’s where you’ll just need to read the walkthrough on www.taletellgames.com/strongbad. But, it’s a pretty good one. Sayin’ it’ll be out June 2004 only 4 and a half years behind schedule. Super Reliability!

Call of Duty 3

Call of Duty 3 is about WWII ( World War 2 ) in the game you play as the allies ( U.S.A, Britian, Canada, France, ect.) and you are in France fighting to reclaim it during the Normandy Breakout campaign. It’s not easy to beat game and the level that shows that is the last one where I died like 50 times the first time I got to the level, and let me tell you something else, I was playing on Easy. So really that’s luckily a game so I don’t only have one life and I get to finish the game instead of the game saying ” You died you may no longer play, sorry.” So then you’d have to start all over and you’d throw your game into the wall and start yelling at it. But anyway it’s a good game. And I haven’t yelled at it yet!

SBCG4AP#3 Baddest of the Bands!!!

The new episode of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People has came out.The way this one starts is Strong Bad is playing his Fun Machine and it breaks so he goes to the only person who can fix it Bubs. When Strong Bad gets there Bubs says it’ll cost him one bag of cash.

Strong Bad doesn’t have any money so he makes a Battle Royal of the Bands. After SB gets the bands(Cool Tapes, Pom-Star, and the Two-o-Duo) for the concert he finds out he’ll have to enter the concert. Your band’s initials will be D.O.I! My Band’s true name is Deluxe Omelet Insomniacs ( each person in the band said a word Strong Bad, The King of Town, and Homsar)!

After you take down the competition and win you get back the Fun Machine and you get a hint (preview) of the next episode. And let me tell you Limozeen: Hot Babelian Odyssey is HARD. (The game in the Fun Machine)

Star Wars:Battlefront

One of my favorite video games is Star Wars:Battlefront. In the game you can chose from the Republic, CIS, Rebel Alliance, and Galactic Empire.

My personal favorite is the Republic. The Republic has a multitude of 5 different trooper types and they are, Clone Troopers, Arc Troopers, Clone Sharpshooters, Clone Engineers, and Jet Troopers.

But besides single player there is also a multi-player online mode where you can play angst or with other players. And at the start ( or in the option tab ) you can make the CPU players be easy, medium, or hard.
